Sorry, seriously though could you tie the ladder into the building somewhere?

eg - tie rope from bottom rung to something substantial on  the house

I've just read this on one of your posts:

Quote
... i use 30ltr drums at the moment to carry my water so one of them would do...

You could put one or two of these at the bottom of the ladder

Don't bother faffing about with stand offs,

Get yourself a pair of ladder mitts: >>>Ladder Mitts<<<

(Buy them ----- >>>From here<<<    ;) )

And get some of these pronto: >>>Ladder Limpets<<<

You won't regret it.  It'll make things more stable until you get your WFP.

:) :) :)

put the top of the ladder above the window and the angle should be alright,if you have a spiked ladder you can saftly come out of a garden with the ladder on the sill

stand off, and footed maybe your only option, or get a long trad pole, you could also think about going wfp to stop this happening again but will not push that as I hate wfp window cleaners  ;D

the only reason i got this job and the other five is they dont like wfp and they want trad and there more to follow them so i want to get this right as they are all spreading my name around the estate
