Night Owl ?
« on: May 22, 2009, 07:31:52 am »
Last night about 8.45pm, light was fading, I set off for my local sports club for a glass or two of throat oil. On the way I saw a bloke cleaning windows!

He was a proper window cleaner, good A frame ladder, bucket on a belt etc I can't imagine why he was still out that time of night. I would be too knackered to stand by then.

I'd want to be home well before then, but i think the conditions at that time of day would be ideal for traditional cleaning.

Uh-huh, maybe 6 hours isn't a long day for me, but I do start to feel everything after 6 hours. But dawn till dusk? You are doing something very very wrong if you don't earn enough money in 5-6 hours.  :o

What is it about then? Would you work dawn till dusk because your having such a blast you can't stop?  :P

Maybe it's his second job, maybe he didn't start till 4pm.

That's a good point, maybe he's trying to build up a round before ditching his current job. :)

Maybe he's taking the wife and kids away for a long weekend, and just wanted to get finished.
I find now that if I put in a long day, I lose it the next through being knackered, each to his own as they say.
