Well? I have got my urge back again now (at last) and want to start growing again. Do you knock, i think they like to see a smart person at door. I have all the nice flyers so just planning it now.

i always knock and canvass , leaflets to me are ok and do generate work but nothing compared to speaking to someone, i hand everyone who wants to ask husband etc a leaflet and post through all not in, im getting loads of calls now from a leaflet drop over 6 months ago, i get lots when i go canvassing , when i started out 7 years ago and had no work i could canvass enough work for that day and do it that day, and have similar success rates even now when knocking, i tend to be good at getting a feel for an area and if its not working not wasting any more time and getting somewhere fresh.

Knocking will get you more customers. If there is a car outside, knock it. If not leave a card / leaflet.

My lovely wife has been doing a couple of hours knocking for me the past couple of days and ive had about 12 quotes which ive turned 75% into jobs.

I will be using ateam to door knock for me. I have run contract teams in the past so I think I can knock on doors.HOWEVER as I am just setting up I decided that I need a fast heavy hit to achieve my target number of custies and a decent round built very quickly. As Time goes on a I will be doing mini knocks in areas my self just to top up or replace drop offs bad payers etc

Does your sister specialise in draught exclusion?

I dont knock just drop leaflets - I dont like people knocking my door my area is always getting canvassed for different things mainly double glazing etc I think if I dont like it then other probably wont too!

My wife takes details and i ring and arrange a time to go and give a quote. Works well i think

Wrekin Window Cleaning if you knock the doors I bet you will get more than 5 times the amount than waiting for the phone to ring.
People are lazy they have to pick up the phone dial 6 to 10 numbers in the right order as well !
Knock Knock whos there ? The Window cleaner reply "good I was going to phone you" yeah ha ha
