ask them how much they paid for it!!

I've never seen a real suede suite.  but more than likely its 'buffalo' which is wet cleanable do a test area.

Mike
£1200 Land of leather.
I checked inside one of the cushions and there was white felt like backing on the underside.

yep its Buffalo, it has a soft face fabric glued onto a ( usually white) backing fabric.

i don't think you could buy a suede chair for £1200 let alone a full suite

Hi Guys

One of the small  microscopes is invaluable if you are not sure.

Faux Suede clearly shows a regular pattern with stitching, real suede is random and does not have stitching  ::)

I cleaned some suede cushions last week, used a brush and spot cleaned a couple of stains with solvent. I ended up with cramp in my forearm after 90 mins of brushing, must be getting old.

Cheers

Doug

Doug, if you've got cramp in your forearm after 90 minutes you need to back off those little blue pills  :P
