My heart goes out to Johns family and friends and to those present on the boot camp. I'm still in shock and cant believe one of our forum brothers has gone.

My prayers are with you all.

Jason.

Our sincere condolences go to all his family and friends. It really is a tragic loss.

For those that may have missed it, Billy Turton is collecting donations for John's family.

Billy Turton has just rang if anyone wants to donate something make cheques out to Mrs Gregory and post them to him as he is close by. His address is 16 Durham Way,Netherton,Liverpool,L30 1SJ.

I'm sure it goes without saying but, out of respect for his family, we should avoid posting any further details about the actual incident itself.

Rest in peace John

Mike

Absolutely, gutted. I learned the awful news whilst doing a commercial job last night. John spent a day with me a couple of years ago, and since then he would frequently phone seeking advice, and I last saw him at the CCDO and spoke just a couple of weeks ago. I spoke to his wife last night and passed on my condolences. I can honstly say that John was one of the nicest mild mannered guys it has ever been my pleasure to meet, I took to him straight away and its just awful to know that he has been snatched away from his family like this, just as he was beginning to get somewhere after such hard initial work getting his business going.
Rest in peace John.

Jason,
My thoughts too. It must have affected all the people on the boot camp terribly. You just can`t believe something like this can happen.
Can`t stop thinking about it.  My deepest codolances to John`s family.

A tragic loss,I didn't know John personally but it is obvious from the comments from those that did know him that he was one of the good guys.
Sincere condolences to his family.
John
