the reason I ask, we met the guy, went on his round, established a price, and was due to make a payment today, and last night he pulled the plug!!!   Not bloody happy!!!! (although no cash has been exchanged)

I just wondered if anyone else had been duped into handing over any cash or had any dealings with him from the ebay link

Are you suggesting he took a better, or another offer after agreeing, or that there was an element of trickery where the round was not as represented?

agreed on price, shook on it, and was completing the deal today. 9.05 last night get a mail that he is keeping it cos another round he is buying fell through. I suspect he had a better offer, but bugger all I can do about it really. Also found it advertised 2 days later after we had agreed the deal.

.......but I AM NOT BLOODY HAPPY !!!!         .......being messed about
