RO for idiots
« on: May 15, 2009, 07:13:52 pm »
Can you give me a hand?

Me and the guy I work with have been using wfp pole for some time now but have always just collected water from someone we sub other work to.

We have just been given an 800l tank and are thinking about saving the travel time and setting up our own system.

What are the other vital components and what is the most cost effective set up to produce, say, a tank a day?

Also do we need to worry about a base for the tank to sit on weight wise?

Cheers

Si

lol you guys in the posts above can't even offer advice yourself?   :D

It all depends on how much water you go through a day.

I presume you are talking about a static tank yes? Depending on what your water need is, either a 300 or 450GPD, or perhaps a 4040. They differ on how much water they make.

Apart from that, you need a transfer pump, transfer hose from static tank to vehicle tank, outside tap, drain, and power supply if your mains pressure is too low and you need a boosterpump for the RO.
