got an RO system in back of van, when water is full in tank do you leave the wast tap open .?
to drain any water out of RO .

You need to keep the membrane as wet as possible so that it doesn't dry out except in winter when the temperature goes sub zero.

just leave the tap as normal or you will have to move it each time you fill and check enoguh waste is coming out I have a 4040 van mount and that part was a real pain, I would say dont give yourself more work it will not dry out the membrane between fills as long as you are not waiting weeks per fill.
