Drove off without getting paid!

I have a terrace of four houses - all neighbours/friends who all pay for each other when not in. Anyhoo I do all the fronts and then drive round and do all the backs.

As I finish the fronts lady at 1st house asks who hasn't paid so that she can pay me all of them. I tell her one has paid and so she says when I get round the back she'll pay for the rest when I do hers (last as the backs are done in reverse order to the fronts.)

I do the backs - forget to knock on her door and drive off - that was last Friday!

She phones today to say she was wondering why I didn't collect. I just forgot and in the circs am going to pop down as it was my error.

How many other times have I done this!?   ??? ::)

Malc it's normally the custie who drives off without paying me.
I hate that when that happens. Especially when theyve made the small talk with you. >:(

LOL  ;D,I had this happen to me last job today a £20 house,she waved at me through the kitchen window smiles and i even thought to myself "yes going get paid" but nope when i got back round the front the car was gone and know one in  :-\,how hard would it have been even if she hadn`t got any money on her to just say can you call back, ::)

Yep,.. did that just before Xmas for a 3 weekly commercial job,.. noticed i hadn't been paid in feb (6 weeks for payment normally with this one), and then noticed I hadn't typed up the invoice!
Still trying to get paid for that one! :(

I'm the opposite, the other week I called round to collect my money from a customer who had already paid me the day before! He did laugh about it though. :D

I done this the other day!

customer was going out he said i will just leave it here on the table and shows me.. great i said thanks! then i finish dont collect and totaly forgot to pick it up  :(
