double operator conversion

I'm looking to convert my wfp system to a double operator system. In the past I have done this by just using a y peice and two hoses, however the flow is somewhat slower.
I would like to add a second pump.
Has anyone done this?
Is it pretty straight forward to do?
Will I need extra polishing vessels?

I'd be gratefull for any advice, cheers

1 x 100 psi 5litres per min shurflo pump would be fine for two man operation  ;D

I'm using 10 mm hose. Does it make much difference using mini or microbore?

I have just done this to my set up, i'll take pics if you want.

I am DI only and DI straight to the tank. Then pure is split to 2 pumps with varistreams. Its very simple I use a corner piece from hoselock so that it fits snug to the side of the van.

10mm hose  :-\ I have used 6 and 8mm id hose the 8mm being better for water

just read your stuff- thought the prices were high- other than that excellent.Thats not a critisism- just a comment.Very well written.??

Anyway i'm trying to switch to two reels. Cleantech are sending me a tee piece that exits the tank.The pictures you mentioned would be good.

Brilliant!
very helpfull. Is the second pole on a shorter hose- the curly self returning sort?
How fast is a two man team? it's hard to say without mentioning money i know, but say i can do 15 jobs on my own, what woud be my revised target with a helper?

I think this is the first time someones put a video on here.

clive, just cut the pipe after it exits the tank and fit a Y

No problem, they both run to a hose reel although at the moment I only have one minibore. If you are running 2 I intend to have them go off in opposite directions so that they dont get in eachothers way. I have yet to get my second reel.
