How many of you guys have a website and what is the return on them.
Is a website aimed mostly at commercial customers or both residential and commercial?

Matt

I depends or what you want to aim it at. it can be both or commercial or residential, it is what you need it for.

Returns are ok I would say it is the third best thing I do for marketing but other 2 cost me alot more, but at the same time it can be one of the best as it is reference that opens up other marketing things I do..

Used with all other marketing it is a very good investment in any business.

That is me giving a view and on what works for my business.

Thanks Ian, my other forms of advertising I would say are aimed at residentials as they are local newspapers and flyers along with door knocking.

do yuo have a website to open up that marketing ?

Most of my work is domestic and everything we do has website on so they can view more, a flyer can be used as a starting point, again doorknocking if they are unsure, that can view more details when you not there.

one thing that worked for me was tell one of your customers in the street that if they recomend you, and its down the same street
and they get at least 5 cutomers you will give them a discount
