If you keep that attitude you won't go far wrong.

We all have a price per hour/per m2/per ft2 that we need to earn to break even or earn a profit and everyone's is different.

If some cleaners are cheaper than me, fine, doesn't necessarily make them busy fools, they might just have lower overheads.

Focus on your own running costs and protect your profit margins.

totally agree.

i think the key is not to panic.
i did F all last week apart from the friday job, but i didn't panic or think about dropping my prices.
i ended up doing a late job friday which came in while i was on the friday job, and i'm booked up nicely next week which will compensate for last week.
as the old saying goes
don't panic mr mainwaring ;D

patience newbies, patience.
it'll pay in the end.
