hi pingu tds is 370 today here in warwickshire sometimes it drops to about 340,,320 if you know why this happens please let me know.

Hi...just a polite bump ...thanks to all those who have given details...

Sorry ccmids...I really have no clue why tds varies...I can get between 260 and 320...depending...could be weather i.e rainfalls but your guess is as good as mine...

Anyone know why we can have varied tds readings?

Varied tap tds readings are because your local water supplier draws their water from various sources( reservoirs,holding tanks etc) so readings can change daily due to different extraction plants! If the same question had your life depending on it,then don't quote me please!
