what time of year are you most busy
« on: May 06, 2009, 02:27:26 pm »
whats the busiest time of year. I have only been goin 5 months and in that period have been getting more and more work. i advertise in lots of places mags, web, leaflets, yell.com  last month was great and am not doin anything dif as far as advertising. and for some reason this last ten days has gone dead.

Not been sitting on my butt have been stomping the streets putting leaflets out as i refuse to stay at home.

Just wondered if you guys more experienced pros would still call this the the quiet period or have i something to worry about.

Last week was brilliant and this week, which I've been busy, is a 3 day week as we've got Helston's Flora Day on Friday and Monday was written off.... Wow, that was some hang over :-X It's definately getting better and it's nice to know that the recommends are coming in which means I'm doing something right :)

Next week's very quiet at the moment but I'm learning that half the time, you just never know what's around the corner!

Nearly done 12 months at C/Cin' and I absolutely love what I do.... Even the oven cleaning :-\

When kids go back to school in sept until Xmas, get the biggest rush after bonfire night until Xmas eve dinnertime.

ps... i defy anyone to produce figures considerably higher than that in there first year of trading and starting from scratch,in a recession. i'm reasonably happy with where my business is going.

Clinton dont think you fully grasp the level of cock up mate .
spent nearly a year booking em in on fixed plans at to low price, to then need to call em back recently to raise !!
mind you would of still done ok at the price but for the service they now receive , I under valued my self and will not now step down price .
so yes its going ok and Im learning how to tap commercial
