Crisis
« on: May 03, 2009, 07:26:19 pm »
Doom and gloom!

It's my own fault for not saving and backing up I suppose, Feeling like a right tit now though. ::)

Round tracker V4 just crashed on me. It has everything, names, numbers, EVERYTHING. ???

I did print a master the other day, but the idea of typing all that back in does not appeal to me. :'(

It's gone to filter one particular day and then stopped responding. Now I can't view the rest of the list. Perhaps I'm doing something wrong, and I know I'm not the brightest of sparks, but think it's terminal.

Anyone got any idea's?  (first one to say get a notebook and pencil gets rude words)

Hmmmm.....  Arse!   does spring to mind.

Excuse the profanity, but sometimes it is just a given right to those of us who screw up in a most major way!

Don't give up yet. Contact the people who made the software. There is usually a way to get out trouble.

Cant you do a system restore to a previous point.
This should return lost data. I could be wrong though.

Good call, if system restore is active on your pc this should work.

If the system restore does not work, you could get the information from the computers hard drive, you will need to get a computer expert to retrieve it though.

Its the same method the police use to find out what pedo's have downloaded.

Thanks guys for the info and suggestions. Tried most of them but to no avail.

Luckily I had printed a copy off and only had to type it all in again. Took ages to do but all back up and running.

In fact it did me a favour because I had the chance to re-oragnise the list.

Not to worry, Crisis overted. Kinda.
