Terry
I have a twin jet stair tool which helps.
I can adjust the temperature if required before the dump valve kicks in or lower the revs a bit so its not producing as much heat (but less suction/more dry passes).
Lifes a compromise.

karl this one has been built in the machine i can change the temp and if i dont turn it on i just use the normal inline heater,Clinton i would not use the steam mate on upholstery. Joe i think  i will turn down the heat when using the stair tool  ::) sic of getting burnt.  thanks terry

This is not how we clean but rather a test to show the heat: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l_AkzzHfVTg
