Half way through some upholstery today my Ninja cut out, 1st thought was I'd tripped the fuse box, then that someone had switched it off at the door, mild panic before checking the plug that was in securely but when I moved the cable near the plug it came back to life, finished off the job and decided to take a look when I got home.
But the plugs are sealed, is there a way to undo these? Do they require a special tool?

Stanley knife, then fit a standard 13 amp plug

As Mark says, its just an internal wire break which are common near the plug or where the cable enters the machine. This is the first thing to check if you lose power.
