i use car websites and now and then they organise group buys on items from suppliers. I was thinking we could organise a group buy of parts like connectors, y pieces, ball valves etc and receive a discount on them as buyinh in bulk. we could go straight to main suppliers.
anyone ever done it?

supplies are relatively cheap anyway. The effort that would go into organinsing and managing this wouldn't be worth the savings
