Shop Fronts
« on: April 27, 2009, 01:18:06 pm »
I do work on a trad basis and have just picked up my first couple of shop fronts - they are about 15' by 8'.

Have tried to do them with a pole but seem to end up with a trail of water off the edge of the squeegey - any tips?

you get trail lines because you are letting water off the end of the squeegee by being at an angle,  practise downward strokes with a slight angle each way you will then see that one way leaves a trail and the other dont, once you get that right its a doddle
bad weather always looks worse through dirty windows

Until you get the hang of using the pole, use downward strokes with the pole and dry the squegee after each pass, you will pick it up in no time!!
