£1250 for the kit then you'll need the camera at roughly £850 plus a few accessories (spike and nozzles say £50). Generator £600 ish maybe more if it's a Honda. Pressure washer same again and more, extra pressure pipe etc. Then chuck a bit of gullability tax on top and you'll be there. Oh and vat. Oh and delivery.  ;)
................ and a trailer too? Oh, and a towbar!

There is a cheaper way of course - but very unprofessional.

Ian, if you've been awake on this site then you know of the alternative and obviously it wouldn't suit you.  ;)

Hi Ian,

We may be selling our guttervac system.

It's been unused for the last three or four months. We have reverted to cherry pickers for anything above 25ft really or anything with box gutters, because the vac system really does not cope well.

Although it is a good system to get you in the door to quote with a client 9/10 times we find that it is unsuitable to do the job properly, but for surveying I would recommend the CCTV system as it works great.

Cheers,

Huw.

DIY is not suitable for those that employ.

Fine if your a one man band or a partnership then DIY is a cheaper way to go as your using the same or very similar products, but once you start employing you need to be using proper bought kit not DIY. Your have a legal duty / responsibility to your employees to be using the correct equipment.

Of course if you dont care about your legal duty then that's your choice.

You are now interfering with my business.
How would you like me to approach your customers and offer them cheaper ways to clean their windows?
