Sorry to hear about your loss, but I think we all need to change our mind set in these times.
Check out their credit rating no one would give me credit or cash without it,you can even insure against loss.
we can change our payment terms, payment in 14 or 7days with a discount,or like the commercial customer I booked in on Friday I just said I expected payment on completion which was agreed.
If they have not got the money before you do the job how come they will have it in say 30 days ?
I do'nt like working for nothing so check out if you want to business with them first, and of course cash is king.  ::)

Think its one of the reasons that i changed my mind about buying a scorpion as i did hear of the problems and didnt fancy forking out 3 and a half k and having to wait 4 to 6 weeks for the delivery ::)

I got stung for £8k a while back. Dont do any work now unless they are prepared to pay, the day the job is completed.

The person who owed me the money conveniently had all their assets in someone elses name!!!

As frequently happens in situations like this, many people are PRESUMING a lot without any actual knowledge. It's a bit like having a trial my media.

I have had a good working and personal relationship with  all the personalities in the Solution and HydraMaster situation being discussed here, and have been involved in conversations which contained priviledged information. There are many comments above that are way off the mark.

Don't presume. If you don't know the facts it may be wiser not to comment. Every case is different.

Safe and happy cleaning :)

Hi Guys

Ken is right, there is too much presumption,  provided no CC has been disadvantaged by this then that is all that really concerns us.

I started this topic to clarify the warranty issue and as this has been done, I am now locking before it gets out of hand.

Thanks

Doug
