At the first sign of warmer weather...
« on: April 22, 2009, 05:55:45 pm »

....like creepy-crawlies they emerge from the woodwork. I've known all along that they're there but they've been out of sight and lying dormant and nothing will entice them from their hibernation...until a star 96,000,000 miles away basks our miserable rainy country with life-giving warmth and light!

And then they crawl out fom their lairs demanding that I should come and clean their windows "tomorrow, or maybe one day next week"...

I know the poor darlings have been sleeping since the Autumn of last year and after 7 months hibernation are hungry for clean windows but today was like a feeding frenzy!

On my 1st Communion...no fewer than 5 people called me today...these have been "unattainable" (for want of a better word) since around September last year...and they SERIOUSLY expect me to seamlessly slot them back into my round!

 :o >:( ??? ::)

 ;D ;D

Well as alot of you know...I live and work in The Netherlands...I was doing a window and woodwork clean..when I turn around and see the Transit with UK plates...I shouts over to the guy and we get chatting...

This team of lads ...all Southern Irish...are working the way around Holland......pressure washing...I had a look at the gear...very, very professional looking equipment...all the guys had signwritten uniforms.

Lucky there are not window cleaning eh!

This weather brings out all sorts....

Dave.

When i saw your post i thought it was the cowboy cleaners you meant,personally i would rather have people asking me to clean again than see some of the scum going around impersonating REAL w cleaners.However as you say there back asking will you do mine again,sometimes we even answer them with a great big no,but mostly we just smile whilst shaking head from side to side. cheers mick

Nunno Mick, I'm delighted for the cowboys to have my once (maybe twice a year) "customers"...they deserve each other ;D
