pricing of end of tenant cleans
« on: April 22, 2009, 02:48:48 pm »
Hi, we're looking to start doing end of tenant cleans for letting agencies and are wondering what prices are? properties are : 1 bedroom flats, upto 4 bedroom houses.
one agency has said that £150 for a 4 bed house clean is steep.
Any advice greatfully received!

Steer clear of any agency who thinks £150 is too expensive. The next stunt they'll pull is to say that they are unhappy with the clean and refuse to pay. Believe me I been their with that one.

Are they a franchise by the way, as I have found these are the one who really attempt to screw you.

Tenants leave properties in a right mess, you need to view any property before you quote, what about needles and disposal of crap, carpet cleaning is this included in the £150? Tell them to go and damn SPIDERs. I dispise these people, and was delighted when one Belviour in my area went bust.

Regards

Graham

no, most of them are small independants. I think its a case of people pricing themselves to low and barely making money on it.

I dont understand why agents moan that prices are too high, when it is the tennant that pays out of the bond. Thats what I say to them anyway...seems to work.

I must of the time speak to the tenant first as they normally call before they move as they know they have to have ot done or lose money, a key which I will not say works very well indeed 8/10 people that call take the service  ;)
