well i would just buy one
reason i say this is Ive build a fare few poles over the years and altered a few, i built my first modular pole two an a half years ago it was a good learning curve since then i have built a few and i was always unsure of the slx when it first came out, also i thought it might be to fragile as it would need to be quite thin walled to keep the weight down, i watched a listened to people buying them waiting for there comments good or bad, Alex then came out with a bigger model and again i had my concerns, but feedback again surprised me,
so i went ahead and brought one and me being me took it completely apart and checked it over with i fine look and i can say through my own experience of carbon poles not just in wfp the slx is spot on good wall thickness good strength in sections, but if you are a real brute with your poles this wont last as long as you would hope i expect a few years use out of mine at-least, it comes with care instruction
