I called out to a customer today to carry out a survey on two natural fibre velvet sofa's, aubergine in colour which she got from Habitat only two years ago.
I carryed out the usally tests to find if the colour would bleed and it was.It was losing colour with just water also fibre and fabric rinse and also it blead with dri pro
I then did a distortion test which told me it had to be dry cleaned but the tag on the sofa said not to dry clean!

My point is why do they make this sort of fabric when it is so hard to clean
I told Mrs Mill's I did not wont the job as there were to many risks involed but I would ask my fellow Carpet Cleaners if they had any Ideas and may be I will have a go but at no risk to my company. She seemed to be happy with that.
Many thanks Gavin
