1 weeks knocking and leaflets produced...
« on: April 02, 2009, 09:07:30 pm »
Hi all,

Just wanted to share with you what i have achieved in a weeks knocking and dropping leaflets. I have had 3000 A6 B&W leaflets done - not got rid of them all yet and been knocking on houses that people are in.

In a weeks knocking (part time ish) i have 30 regular customers & £175 worth of one off work - covers nearly one working week.

Had a customer tell me they had a lovely flyer, very proffesional, colour, A5 - the dogs basically. They said they wouldnt ring because it gave the impression they were expensive. Mine on the other hand is basic, B&W and to the point. This is what i do, this is my number. I have had a huge responce from them and at 1p per leaflet i reckon its a bargain.

I have tried the glossy ones, and will again I keep going back to the printed BW myself and they have always worked on standard houses.

Good that you got that work, I have been doing the same (well sort of, have people do it for me) they have produced a healthy amount in 1 week. Will be looking to get next van on the road within 8 weeks if it carries on time will tell but all good.

I have to say new cleans are a pain in the backside  ::)

B&W had to be done as im on a tight budget - but they are working so much better than the colour I have found.

Been knocking myself ascant pay someone to do it. I hated it to start, but ppl say yes or no and thats it ive found, so i can cope with that.

Im going to have to look at a van myself if work keeps coming in as it is. dont charge extra for 1st cleans on windows. want to build up a customer base and i feel this may put some people off. When it comes to conservatories though that goes on size and the green ness of the roof. my wife asked why 2 connys the same size were 2 different prices. told her its the greeness that sets the price apart.

Ive not been said no to a conservatory clean yet.... i give them the price for the complete clean, leave it 5 seconds and them tell them i will clean the guttering for free.

Got one woman who arranged her house clean so she was there, told her about WFP system and she wants to stand inside the house while im cleaning the window so she can see it working. Fine by me if she gets the kettle on while shes in there. might start with the kitchen window first  ;D
