Reminds me of a client who stayed and watched while we set up, prompting me to ask why she looked so concerned.
She told a shocking story of a previous clean, when two guys came into the house with 'a big blue machine' which they set up and left outside the room.
Each of the two filled buckets with hot water which was throwni, in turn, in a wide sweep across the carpet, while positioning themselves in the middle of the room.
The machine was then switched on and they proceeded to extract water from the carpet.
Needless to say, it shrunk and was wet 'for days'.
I don't know their relationship to the company, but it had been trading for around 10 years with an advert in yellow pages and door to door canvassing.
The woman did not pursue them and was clearly well out of pocket.
Carpet cleaners credibility took one hell of a dive as a result of this
best wishes
