been useing superlite brush from gardiner in cornwall for a month now its half the weight of the vikan seems to work well makes a big differance to the weight on the end of the pole has anyone else used this brush

Yeah, for ages.
Does a fine job, but wears about a bit quicker than a more expensive brush.
But hey, just buy another one!

i use the supa light and am very pleased with it

but i also use a couple of cut down bentlys never had a problem with them

makes yours seem like a brick

We have also changed back to the Ionics dual trim brushes as they are about a tenner cheaper and are much better for scrubbing on commercial work and the Ionics brush also lasts much longer.

However it can't bee beaten on the SL2 for weight. So I will still use them as a specialist brush. It's a good brush but not for everyday low work IMO.

Kev - have you tried the flocked version?

I used to use a Bentley all the time but the new flocked Super-Lite cleans so much better and faster.  Because of this, it feels lighter in use as you don't have to work it on the glass as much.  I'm all for an easy life!

I find the Ionics brushes hard work, they don't really splay, and it takes ages to shift muck with them. Good for maintenance cleans though

I've got the super-lite dual trim, and its brilliant... have lost a coupla bristles here and there, so don't know if its as hard wearing as the Ionics brush, but its great for scrubbing, maintenance cleans, and splays brilliantly

Got the super-lite dual trim mono & have used it for everything for the last 6 months or so. excellent brush, the best i've come across in 5 years wfp.
I'm going to buy the flocked version too.

I haven't used my super lite brush yet, maybe tomorrow now the winds dropped.
I have used many brushes of different makes, but the best by far up to now is the crinkly mono-filament brush from Lidl's. It's a bit like the salmon that Gaz used to sell, only the bristles are much denser, it's very light too.

I normally use my Ionic Brush for 1st cleans as well. It does have a bit more scrubbing power and has lasted very well. Find it hard work on Leaded windows has it just bounces all over the window. The SL in perfect for these kind of windows.

Be interesting to have a go with my new Flocked SL on my next 1st clean though.
