Sign writing...can i see yours?
« on: March 29, 2009, 10:25:49 am »
I'm just throwing a few ideas around for the sign writing on my new van. Here's a pic of my old van, I'm going to change the font on the logo, and probably some of the colours, as the new van is blue , also thinking about whether to have logo straight or slanted, any opinions on that? Services offered, not sure whether to have bullet points, or along the van, If anyone could post a pic of their van, and perhaps why they did it the way they did would help.  I have more room to work with too as the van is bigger.

Cheers

Lee

Pah i think youll find someone else gave it to ME many years ago

Yes...i have found that smaller houses hardly ask me any more as they did in this van

This van is out running again now and picking up the domestic side again...

But having said that i get alot of big jobs with my vivaro that i quote and get asked to do some nice jobs  8)

Best of both worlds..think some customers do think when they see the vivaro "hes going to be expensive i wont ask" the red van isnt so over powering i suppose

 ;)

That's something I have thought of.

What were your regular customers reactions like LWC, I've gone from a V reg to 06, guess I wont be putting the prices up now ::)

hi lee

good choice, rz up the road from me has one 8)

he cut down one of his ladders and it fits inside the van with ease

so no need to bother with a telescopic ladder

Yeah. looks like theres plenty of space in there, but I have  one big job which requires a 2.5m climb to a flat roof, so it's either a roof rack or a telescopic.

Had quite a few "you're doing alright" to which i replied "i needed 3 seats with the kids and more water" ;D they are all like "....oh ok"

Think what sort of market you want to be approaching with your vans. its nice having the bigger stuff, but when you loose them its a gutter ... but loosing the odd tenner house is not so bad. I like my little work, always there and have been doing some since i started over 5 years ago.
