I have been considering getting a Smartphone so that I could use Pocket George once again.
 The first PDA i bought some years ago, the battery wore out and I didn't get around to replacing it. Then I heard that phones were coming out that could be used as PDA's.
Any advice on what phone's are suitable for Pocket George?

Most Palm Treo phones are ok for running George, but make sure thats its running the palm operating system not windows.

You need a palm pc not a pocket pc running palm os 3.5 or later to run it. Think the treo is the only phone palm i know of. A smartphone or pda wont run it.

i got a palm treo 680  really handy bit of kit,
 only downside is that if you want to call ahead you have to jot the number down then dial it from the phone ,, it doesnt allow you to highlight the number and call it directly, i did mention this would be handy to paul but it seems its too much work and not enough guys have cottoned on to using smartphones
