Has anyone noticed due to the economic climate more companies are hiring direct.

I went on the jobsite as this is where I look at wages beeing offered to cleaners and I see more companies requesting their own cleaning staff. Which wont help us as contractors.

Although we are surviving and we have a few new contracts it has slowed down a little, at one point I couldnt even come up for air.

I need more staff now. But thats always a sore issue as I hate taking on new staff. Most of them are a waste of time.

Yes, i was informed today by one of our clients that they are going to go "in house" soon.
