Superlite brush

I have a Superlite brush with a y connector but i dont like the connector and want to change it for a t connector that is push fit, the pole hose fits it but not the hose thats on the brush as the jets are are much smaller any suggestions on how i can fit it

  That is something I have struggled with myself. The Y connector is way too big on the pole hose end.
  The only solution I've found so far is to fit a Y that is the same small size on all 3 sides.

  Problem is the Y is only just about in on the jet pipes anyway and easily pop out - this is my only gripe with the brush.

That fitting drives me nuts...I change brushes often during the day and the amount of time I have to re-fit that silly sized fitting...arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh

Oh great brushes though.

Heating the pipe wont help as it needs to be a larger outside diameter to fit into and stay in the push fit connector i tried to slide the right size pipe over the brush hose but it was too tight and the part of the jet that sticks up from the back of the brush is too small
If you understand  ???

buy new jets just cut the end off them so its the same diameter as brush you might need to glue them in

Can't see the problem myself. The Y piece stays on the brush - all my brushes have them. Just pop off the pole hose and change the brush.  ???

You might find it easy but my y piece goes into the hose very tight and you just cant pull it out without heating the hose or snapping the connector whereas the push fit connectors are easy to remove hose from

The thing to do is to heat the end of your pole hose so that it re-forms at a slightly larger size.

To do this, the best way is to heat the end with a heat gun (cup of boiling water if no heat gun) and then insert the connector. Let the hose cool and pull the connector out. This will have moulded the pole hose to a slightly larger bore and you will be able to switch brushes far more easily.

If you do not have to switch brushes then it is obviously better to have a very tight fit.

Problem with that is the pole hose end is then too fat to fit into the push connectors you may have on your other brushes.

I think you just have to decide which method you want to use and stick with it.  You could always leave a short length of pole hose connected to the Y piece permanently that would then fit onto a straight John Guest connector (8mm-8mm, we keep these in stock) and this would allow you to quick change any of our brushes without having to touch the Y piece at all.
