Hi,

Just heard from my neighbouring bin cleaner he had his van stolen whilst returning a bin to the customer!

They parked it up for 24 hours to see if a tracker was fitted and fortunately a customer spotted it and rang him up.

Apparently 'toerags' are looking for window cleaning/bin cleaning vans on their rounds as keys are generally left in whilst working. (even been known to drive off whilst operator working at rear of van.

Moral of the story- keep keys on a chain around your waist!

My ex tried doing this to me didnt work. so the next day woke to find all tyres stabbed that a woman for you

now i always take keys out

How do you know they had" parked it for 24 hrs to see if it had a tracker fitted"
and not just dumped it, surely most people would come the conclusion that they had dumped the van. unless you had some sort  of insight into the routine of stealing a van.......

take the keys and tyres with you are it will confuse even the smartest car jackers and the ex wife
