Anyone for a game of Bridge...?
« on: March 24, 2009, 08:31:20 am »
Me again,

I've been asked by a local council to quote for the cleaning of a Footbridge over a river.

They would like it pressure washed to prevent pollution of the water course but I am wondering about access to the outside of the bridge for cleaning.

I don't own any fancy shaped lances for my pressure washer so it would mean getting outside of the bridge to clean the ornate shapes.

Anyone done anything of this kind before. Suggestions welcome.

Les

Pair of waders and an extending lance.

Use a power pole from Omnipole or any extending pole. You wont need to much pressure as the green algi is easy to remove.

Thanks for the replies.
Unfortunately not allowed to use water from the River but a Pavillion is nearby so okay for water.

Will have to look into the cost of an extending lance...I have a Kranzle Pressure washer.

Scaffolding was an option but pretty expensive unfortunately due to River.
