It closed down on march 11th John, there was a thread on earlier last week mate. Got quite a few replies might be worth a look.
I know your looking to upgrade machine John, would you be interested in the new Prochem Powerplus 500 with heater only 5 months old still under warranty mate?

Thanks for the offer Mark but think I'll go for the new Ninja.
Can be left in vehicle while working so in effect you have a T/M at a portable price.
Just not the waste and water capacity.

Actually what you have is a portable mounted in your van.
Not knocking the concept but in reality thats what you will have.
Applying the terminology truckmount to how it is understood by majority means you have a completely different machine then a portable which happens to be in your van.

Have you had a price for your new ninja ???

Are you going for the 2" hoses with your new set up and getting the vac booster ???

OK Joe, I will have a machine that stays in the van while I clean with it, but then isn't that what a T/M is.
The word Truck is ambiguous anyway 'cos there all really van mounted.

Clinton.
Still debating, £3300 all in bu with no accessories.

John,
£1750 with wand, 2 sets hoses (50ft), in-line heater and upholstery tool, still got 7 months warranty. As brand new not one scratch or scuff.

Just ask Mike Osbourne if he put his Speedster in his van would he have a "truckmount" like his Chemspec Avenger.

There used to be a guy on here that put 2ninjas in his van and linked them together and called it a TM, great idea though.

Joe and Mike I can't recommend highly enough the difference with a 2" bore wand, it sticks to the carpet.

Derek had better not get a 2" wand, he would never get any work done - just stuck in one place shouting "glides are for girls!"  ;D

Would be interesting to try one.

How is the single jet wand going on Shaun. Did that come in 2" ?

I love it for empty homes when they are bad stains as it cleans and takes away spots with the force of the jet, if it were a 2" I'd use it all of the time but with most of my work being old customers cleaning grotty properties isn't what I do so the Ti is better for quick drying.

It's a carpet cleaning machine in a van just the same as a T/M.
It's got the vacs, the 400psi pump and the 2" hose.
It's got heat and steam what more do you want.
All it hasn't got is the waste and water tank and the hassle of servicing.
Not sure what vacs are in a TM but this will do up to 400 feet.
Pray tell me because no, I've never worked with or even seen one round these parts.

I know that Ashbys claim that the Ninja will run 400 feet - but I seriously doubt it.

I've got a 400psi Ninja and I doubt it would be much cop over about 150 feet.

You will need the extra piggy back vac that hangs on the ninja to take you up to 3 vacs and then you will get some power on the vacs :)

Think it came to over 4 grand with the vat etc  ???

Sounds about right, quoted me £3300 inc the dreaded for just the machine, no accessories.
Look to add on about £200 a length for hose.
