Try pvc solvant cleaner - denatured ethanol & isobutyl acetate, put on a cloth and wipe. Do a test in a corner but it works on most plastic and vinyls. White spirit will also do it but slower but you can leave this to soak a while

We had a new fire and surround covered in the stuff last week.

We tried UPVC cleaner, as suggested by BDCS which did show signs of working but we would have been there for most of the day.

Tried something that maybe shouldn't have but cleaned up like new in little over one hour.

Be sure to wear your PPE if you try this, just in case.

We used an 'Erase-Away' combined with UPVC cleaner. This goes against the advice of erase away as they are supposed to be used with only water.

Erase away was trashed by the end but as said the fire was like new.

If you are looking at cleaning an entire lino floor then I would say forget it. It just isn't going to be cost effective and the odds are you'll trash the floor anyway. If only the odd splash and UPVC doesn't do the trick then try the eraseaway and UPVC.

Whatever you do I would stress to the customer that cleaning using solvents is the one chance of success but that it is a high risk option.

I once used paramose AS10 to remove latex paint from external walls once but this is lethal stuff it'll just make it soft enough to scrap up,BUT,its a mask and glove job and you'll need to vent the place   costs £125 for 20lts
Been there,seen it,done it,just cant remember when
