Have a look at the guy using the WFP in the picture halfway down the page - he is working off a platform! Surely they could have found a better picture to illustrate a cleaning system that doesn't use ladders, etc. !!!! ;D ;D

Picture I was referring to shows a guy using a water fed pole working beside a white van  - the picture is on the right of the page beside the piece of text explaining water fed poles.

Beat me to it YWCS. Foxy, if I wasn't able to determine between a guy working off a cradle trad and a guy working with a waterfed pole then I doubt I would be using this site!!!!

I just read the wikipedia page for window cleaners,

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Window_cleaner

made me smile in a few places, think it must have been written by a trad guy

 :)

What is this corner wipe method, I've cleaned windows for years and never heard that one!
He is talking about sqeegy into the corners when they are really grotty or spider webed and then washing them, Some Guuurmans "wet up" the windows then cloth the edges, then sqeegy off. (If you see what I mean) No detailing needed then.
