Well I know this is off topic, guys, but I desperately, need some help, if any one can ?
My web site has been taken off, and I don’t understand why?
Basically I have a company who does my domin name and they e mailed me to say that their fee is due last month, which I paid them, with in 3 days, with my credit card on the net.
 Now that my website has been taken off for what ever reason that I cant understand, I have been writing them via e mail and faxed them as well to ask what is happening to my web site, but no answer, a bit strange. They have been o.k. for the past few years that I have been with them.
Another strange thing about this company is that they don’t have telephone number.
Basically I wonder if any one on here has had any problem like this and how did you solve it.

Your help would be much appreciated.

What company is it mate i had the same problem with a company, absoloute
A%$holes, didnt have a telephone number, the only way i could contact them was through feedback mail. and once the going got tough for them they stopped talking to me.

Do you have a backup of the site?
Is it old enough that there would be a net cache that you could copy and re-host?

What was the website address, and I'll have a look for you?

The company in question is call IDEAL HOSTING well they are not that ideal now.
So I cant understand why they don’t have phone number.

So how did you sort out your problem at the end?

Well, I have no idea about the net-cache, basically, friend on mine use to deal with them, and I was paying him to pay them, but he say that he has no record of them, now.

Your domain name has not expired and is not up for renewal untill july so asking for payment for your domain should not have been sent to you.

I'm guessing you bought the domain and hosting with the same company?

How long has your site been down? it could just be a problem with the servers its currently hosted on and should be back online

If the worse comes to the worse just transfer your domain away from them. .uk domains are very easy to transfer away all you need to do is get the ISP tag updated to a new domain host.

Do you have access to a control panel ? If so do you still have access to it?

check out www.nominet.org all uk domain names are done through them you should have been sent in a post a certificate to say you are the owner of yourname.co.uk  and should have some login details with them and if needed you can get the transferred forced away via there

Well this is great, but I cant open the 1st line you have send me, I have opened the second one which give me all the information since I registered, I know this sound silly, but what shall I do now, with this info?
Obviously I will keep it in safe place now, for further inquire.
But Shall I go to another company for my domain name, ?

Because the IDEAL HOSTING  are not replying to me.

Web site problem.

Well hi Lukedella
This is amazing you guys are fantastic.
I can’t understand why they send me that e-mail that I owe them £41.26 and has to be within 28 days.
You see as I said before a friend of mine use to do all these for me, and I had no idea of how he was going about doing it, I just trusted him to pay this company and to do with it, because I just so busy with work and ect…
Teach me a lesson to do important things like this myself.

So where can I get the ISP tag?
No I don’t have access to my control panel either.
I will defiantly check www.nominet.org, are they the best company to deal with?
And no I haven’t received the certificate as yet.

I just cant believe that this company could be cheat people .
