Walk in shake the managers hand and tell him what you can do for him, got £100 of work monthly doing just that on an off chance. Seen dirty windows and popped in.

i have been asked if i am a member of the federation of window cleaners for a few commercial jobs luckily i am so it helps, i think it was a good move by the fed to insist that anyone who becomes a member must take the IOSH working safely course as it shows the federation is setting a standard of safety in the industry.
better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove any doubt
