me too,  had women phone last week for windows to be clean this week cant get hold of her, kept ringing and ringing no answer so she is now dumped

"oh i really need a window cleaner can you come round please"
"no prob"

Went round, 30 mile round trip "will it be a regular thing?"
"oh yes definatly"
"it will be £x amount"
"oh thats excellent"
"right well we're letting it as a holiday home soon so ill give you a call in april for the first clean and then let you know as and when its needed"

My face must of been a picture,  : down little lanes, wasted about an hour of my time.

Yer thats such a bad customer isnt it, fancy asking you to clean her windows ah, next she will ring a plumber to fix her leaking tap.

I treat them with respect, I'm freindly, have a chat when i see them  - and they treat me the same

glad i keep to my 5 mile in one direction limit 

So what happens when you done the job dont you return home stan or camp there and do 5 miles one direction the next day.

I clean one of those offices belonging to a 'No Win, No Fee' solicitors; and one of those guys was telling me that 'law' would be great if it wasn't for the customers.

Even white-collar-workers get messed about by them, but my advice is to be extremely clear with your terms and conditions when quoting.

This man needs a medal, man i tried to give up several years back when i ran a wee second hand shop, one stroppy custy walked in one day and boy i nearly killed him lol

Don't get me started on that one  some people even if you show them your telling the trust they listen to others that are clearly lying

I gave up 3 years ago, took the magic tablet and believe me it is magic, i smoked from the age of 14 to 27, just watch the weight pile on lol.
