Discovery and wfp
« on: March 06, 2009, 04:58:01 pm »
I met a guy today that works wfp from the back of his Land Rover Discovery. I was very impressed. Which made me think why don't I do something similar instead of having a van and a car just have something like this that doubles up as a car and van.
Does anyone else have a similar set up?

All rear seats were removed and plenty of space for other things.

id just go the range rover route but i seen a big yank pick up gardening
the other day talk about one up that would send evryone green 8) nearly fergot
youd have to have 1000 ltr tank min in a rover but the straps round the seats may fall foul
of some bsi standards law

Im thinking of changing my van sometime this year and looked at a nissan double cab pickup.

I need something that i could take the tank out easily so i can get my dog cages in and have rear seats.
I though one of these would be ideal but then i relised i cannot fit my poles inside one with a top.

I don't want one of those huge double cab pickups as they would cost an arm and a leg to run.

I think i may need to look for a crew cab van.

They are designed to take about a 1000kg bud, a tank would be fine in there.

LWC- what about a 350ypvs with back-box & panniers, a pole strapped to each micron pipe? ;)

A Ford F250 would be ideal for use with wfp. Plenty of room in back plus an eye opener when driving around.

Mercedes vito 110cdi Dual liner seat 6

Apparently it was built for the Belgium Market and it has proper factory fitted bulkhead  behind the rear seats and storage underneath the rear seats

i have have had to cut a hole in the top of the bulkhead to allow my 30ft pole to fit

room on the back for a 500 litre system freedom trolley and if needed my Eclipse Carpet Cleaner

when the Tank is full you dont even know it is there Tbh

i also have a car but i use this as my day to day vehicle as i prefer the drive
