Do the WFP guys work with there doors open or have ports built in the vehicle. Cause considering putting hole in my van so the hose can be connected outside the van and make it secure

Closed. Even in the safest of area's.
If the worst was to happen and your van got nicked, the insurance might not pay out if they found out the van was open,...

what i did with my van rather than cut holes in the bodywork, i drilled a hole in the floor, ran a pipe from the pump out of the hole connected the correct fittind on the end then bolted it to the tow bar bracket.

what i did was once the hose was through the floor put about six inches of copper pipe in the end then connect it up to a washing machine tap, easy on/off. outside tap fitting on the other end then a short pipe to your hose reel.
hope this makes sense to you.
i did think about the ones you see on ebay ect,but thought the frost would kill them.

Hose out the door and close the door on it,... once you aren't using 1/2" garden hose it won't stop the water!
