Got asked to quote for these 16 flats, the factor is wanting them cleaned every month, the pics just show 1 block (4 flats) there is another 3 identical blocks.... How much would you quote?

As its all in one place so no travelling id say to secure it go in around £140 as i couldnt see you getting £15 a flat(£240 the lot), if it was just a couple then yer but not the lot.

If you have other jobs nearby try go in as low as you can, i know round me commercial is at rock bottom, i am always too expensive at the minute, i am happier earning more on residential! Theres just too much competition, and all they want is cheapest quote :(

I must have misunderstood something here. Is this job trad or WFP? Is this a silly question if I was UK based? ???

I was thinking in terms of £8 per custy which is £32 per block times four blocks £128 then add £12 to round it off to £140 for all the entrances

i would do all four blocks for £80 +vat at most there is only three hours work but could probably be done in less.

may be it is just the area i live but that would be a realistic price round here, i have cleaned windows for 26 years have a pretty large firm doing lots of commercial work and we still get undercut regularly at these prices.

Commercial seems to be going the same way as contract cleaning from what i have experienced lately!! people quoting daft and employing someone on min wage to do it and turn a few quid profit!! It defintitely isnt the big money you would expect, seems more profitable to get good domestic work to me!! All the commercials ive quoted i have quoted fairly and not had a sniff of any of them - been undercut by ALOT!!

Im not focusing on the commercial as much now, i think unless you get in with council or housing association or similar its hard to get good money, or maybe its just the few ive had??
