PUT POSITIVE THINGS IN HERE
« on: March 03, 2009, 08:48:04 pm »
I think what we need is this section for everything positive that is happening in window cleaning put in things such as the following

1. i found x new customers
2. i was referred today
3. i was asked to do a new commercial contract
4. i have employed a new member of staff.
etc
not I,m better than everyone else just positive comments that will encourage us all when we get a bit down about recession. I'm sure it could be a good thing so that we can all feel that it is still out there when were going thru a tough patch. :)

I picked up a commercial job today.  £170 a pop.  Not the greatest hourly rate but jobs that size usually aren't.  Also, the phone has started ringing again.

I was asked to window clean a pub today, she has bought it and is refurbishing.
I told the landlady I would have a look and give her a price.
She said, 'Doesn't matter what the price is just do it'. ;D ;D
Also picked up another new job today. ;D

Went to look at a job this p.m. and thought I would canvas the whole road (only 5 houses) and got 3 of them, and it's on the way to some other work I do.

First bit of canvassing I have done for ages, probably 18 months since I did any actually, and i quite enjoyed it, 60% strike rate.
There is work out there.

Having first 4 days of this week off. Its a reward to myself for all the hard work I've done in the last year (tax year). Though I have been able to paint the hall, stairs and landing at long last. Still got the new kitchen and bathroom to fit though.
Back to the grindstone on Friday fully refreshed and raring to go I hope.
