Hi all,

just wondering if its ok to use something in the rinse tank rather then just water, when using pure clean as a prespray maybe on those dirtier jobs or just any.

thanks Ralph

Hi,

Some people prefer to throw as few a chemicals at a job as poss. An understandable position from a cost point.

I prefer to throw everything i have at it and leave in the fastest amount of time as wages are basically the largest proportion of your expenses.

My advice would be to try using it on every job. Leaving a little crystallized splitter on the floor wouldn't pose too much of a problem in my opinion. It lets you know you have done "the best job possible".

Alternatively you could leave thinking, well if i had used some more cleaning agents in the tank, would it have came up better?

If its clean to begin with then you don't stand to gain anything, but if not then without using splitter in the tank there's always a "what if?".

Personally im still not convinced that splitter is the best way to go though, we use it on hybrid jobs that involve bonnet to allow hot prespray from the tank. Pureclean is chemically the same as the rest of the splitters without the marketing and will do as good a job.

There are many variations of products you can use.Tthe choice depends on afew factors such as soil levels and carpet fibres. If you just want to go down the one for all road Pureclean is ok and as you can see on the data sheet you can use it in the extraction machine as well and by  doing so will get much better results than by using just water.
