Can you tell me the difference with an unflagged or flagged brush, also mono filament etc etc ,what does this mean? Also your opinions on the best brush for domestic jobs, i currently use a stiff vikan brush or a softer ionics brush, regards Dave

You tend to see flagged brushes in world cup years - especially in England where the cross of St. George is seen flying from many a van window. Unflagged brushes are what I use as if I were to put a flag on it it would undoubtedly get wet.

What type of bristles are in the Unger 11" rectangular?
It is basically the same brush as the 11" Vikan - but the ends of the bristles are definitely different (better, I think).
However, I wouldn't describe them as 'flocked'.
Is there a difference between 'flagged' and 'flocked'?

I used both types of brush flocked and monofiliment.
I tend to use sill brushes now and tend to use the mono sill brush the most as i find its slightly better on bird crap.
I use my flocked sill brush on really old leaded windows as they are a bit more delicate and the flocked brush is nice and soft for them.
Double trim brush has normal sized bristles on the outside and shorter bristles in the middle.

I think they are supposed to be better on scrubbing but i have a double trim and don't really like it.
But i expect what people get used to and we all have our preferences.
