flyer delivery
« on: March 02, 2009, 01:25:12 pm »
I have just done some hand delivered flyers, first in a long time and my feet are killing me.
Their are always lots of threeds on here about flyer delivery but while I was walking along I was thinking about witch types of house are the best to deliver to. Are the nearly new five bed houses worth a fortune a better prospect than an area where there are lots of older people with no mortgage? Or even the estates where the 1000 homes in a small erea, do you find towns better than a village?
Also do you deliver to the same houses every month so they see your flyer regulerly or do you just deliver to near where you are working?
Well im of to buy a good pair of trainers.

I always target the same houses on a 6 weekly basis, that way your name becomes familiar with residents.
I have had £300 jobs in terrace houses and £50 jobs in 5 bed detached so just pop one through every door regardless of size.
I stay local maybe a 5 mile radius at the most.
Good luck with the drops, sometimes you will do an area and it isnt until 2/3 weeks later you get a call so keep your chin up and keep going even, if in the short term you do not see any immediate gains.

Sound a good start :)

Am going to start to put some in the 5 houses each side of the house that am working in :)

Better than being in the box in one of the spare bedrooms ;D
