From now to November I use nothing or fingerless cycling gloves. Then I put polythene disposable gloves over them in winter.

If trad only in winter then unger neoprenes are good and put hot water in your bucket to start off! Or take 25L of hot water with you in a barrel - stays warm most of the day!
It's a game of three halves!

the unger neoprene are ok but you get nicks in them pretty fast. they've brought out some ungertec ones tnat are advertised to be tougher; (not used those though). the worst month is february anyway and it's almost gone. the mornings are brighter now, get some next september. :)
