I have had an ionic 1000litre special for five years and the payments are up .

It is a great system but i have started to set up a static system in my unit.

I have 1 1200ltr ibc and a 1000ltr one already, i am really asking for any advise on the most cost effective way to set up my filtration system.

i plan to have a de ioniser on every van for a final polish... is this practical?

i am looking to produce about 1000 to 2000 litres per night or 12 hourly.

So if any one could recomend a product i would be eternally grateful............promise or forwrd a link

if you have a van mount use the things off it, and get a booster pump, I am guessing you have a 4040 with a booster it will make easy 1000L in 12 hours, I dont polish on van the only water that goes in my van tanks is 000, I do have di vessals but are never used in vans, water is polished into ibc and transered to vans.

dont bother with a di in each van, waste of money, when you can just have 1 on the static system. with a good RO and a booster pump you can produce water thats 1-5 ppm and then you dont need a DI at all saving you even more money and hassle.

thanks for the help,,,,,, so should i get i good merlin ro system i.e £2000 and then a polisher after its been through the merlin?

i will prob sell the ionics system to reinvest cash.
