treated shower glass doors
« on: February 24, 2009, 05:38:52 pm »
Hi
I priced a domestic clean today (fingers crossed i get it) and the lady mentioned that the glass shower door had been treated so it should only need a wipe clean.  looking at it, it does need more than a wipe but am wondering if i should use a particular product on it or if my usual limescale remover would damage it.
Many thanks in advance

Anticalc treated or HydroSheild their are other shower door sealants.

They are designed to stop the build up of limescale. Not sure if that actually works or not. But if you believe the marketing then obviously you will.

I would say you could use watered down limescale product. But if the client just wants it wiped then just wipe the glass.

If it has a build up of limescale, then you will need a limescale removal product product. Allow the chemical to work by leaving it on for about 5 - 10 minutes. Test an area in the far corner.

Hope it helps
